Anti Banquet

July 21, 2026

Anti Banquet is a charity dinner that turns the traditional black-tie fundraiser on its head. Rather than business leaders taking the top table, they’re in the kitchen and out on the floor – cooking, serving and clearing up – while their teams, the people who wouldn’t usually get an invite to an event like this, take their seats for an evening of food and entertainment. It’s a feast designed to benefit those who need it most.

The event is coordinated by Team Canteen, the Bristol hospitality and events CIC founded by Bianchis Group, Emmeline, The Pipe and Slippers, The Pony Family and Team Love. Team Canteen brings businesses into the heart of a much-loved Bristol event, raising vital funds and awareness for tackling food insecurity across the city.

An Evening With Impact

Anti Banquet has now delivered two years of impact. In 2024, the event raised £120,000, which was allocated to 21 causes across Bristol.

In March 2025, the event grew again: more than 700 dinner guests came together with Bristol hospitality’s heroes to raise a further £120,000, dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the city. Comedians Jayde Adams and Joe Sims hosted the evening, while business leaders swapped their usual roles to don aprons and help with preparations, serving, and cleaning up after dinner service.

The scale of the collective effort behind the 2025 evening tells its own story:

  • 11 hospitality businesses donated their time, expertise and efforts
  • 46 grassroot organisations attended
  • 75 companies sponsored the event
Where The Funds Go

Anti Banquet exists to raise money for the community food projects working hardest to support Bristol’s people in need. According to Anti Banquet, funds raised are directed toward the Bristol Local Food Fund, which supports community food projects tackling food insecurity in the city. Allocation decisions are made by a Citizens Panel made up of local people with lived experience of food insecurity – the fund was built by the people of Bristol, to help build a fairer food system in the city.
